Project MASTT2040

MASTT2040 leverages foresight for EU manufacturing’s twin transition, crafting a roadmap for digitalisation, circularity, and sustainability by 2040.

Experienced
Consortium

MASTT2040 combines the expertise of industrial umbrella organizations specialized in manufacturing strategy development and foresight: SIRRIS, Cluster COMET, Future Industry Platform, Steinbeis, Thhink BV and 4CF.

High Innovativeness

MASTT2040 will design and operationalize a participatory, focused, strategic foresight of Manufacturing as-a-Service (MaaS) domain to guide decision making and strategies for the EU manufacturing sector in the context of the twin transition up to 2040.

Knowledge Transfer

MASTT2040 will enable an effective exchange of knowledge and good practices and facilitiate cooperation between all relevant stakeholders to speed up the uptake of innovative MaaS solutions in EU industry.

MASTT2040

Goals & Objectives

The MASTT2040 project’s goals are twofold:

1) to strategically reimagine EU manufacturing by 2040, emphasizing inclusivity and foresight for the digital and green transitions;

2) to involve stakeholders in crafting a roadmap for digitalization, circularity, decarbonization, and sustainability.

The objectives focus on analyzing sustainable practices, assessing manufacturing trends, roadmapping industry transformation, advising on standardization, and engaging stakeholders for technology transfer, aiming for innovation and sustainability in manufacturing.

In a nutshell

The project aims to advance circularity and sustainability in MaaS, analyze trends, roadmap EU industry transformation, and engage stakeholders.

MASTT2040
